Your guide will pick you up at a meeting point in Lisbon, and you will drive about 40 minutes before arriving the magnificent winery, Adega Mãe. The wine tasting starts with an introduction of the stunning vineyards of the area, the different characteristics that’s spread along the hills, and their unique features.

After gazing the beautiful vineyards and getting to know their unique characteristics, you will dive deep into the process of making wine. Your guides will take you into the Temple Room where the wine rests on wooden barrels. Here you will get to know how they make the wine and the special taste, and the challenges wine producers face on a daily basis.

Last, but not least you will of course get to taste the wine of Adega Mãe. The menu contains of four wine types, two white (or rosé) and two red. To accompany the wine, you will get to taste some bread and homemade olive oil from the area. Learn to taste the difference between the wines, and become familiar with their attributes.
